A comprehensive one day clinic led by head coach Marty Kinsey. Coach Kinsey has led the Gaels for 15 years and has coached several athletes to qualify for the NCAA Championships in the 800, 1500, 3,000 Steeplechase, 5,000, and 10,000 meter events. The camp will discuss proper running mechanics, dynamic and static stretching, activation drills, form drills, training theory, various strength training techniques, performance nutrition, racing strategy, and more. During a breakout, campers will have their stride analyzed and will be provided feedback on how to become more efficient runners. Campers will also have a session with renowned sports performance psychologist Dr. Tim Bayley. In addition, with the ever changing landscapes of the NCAA, campers will be provided information on these changes and how that may impact their potential future of competing in college athletics.
All Saint Mary’s Athletic camps are open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender).
